Reduction of both energy consumption and CO2 footprint while increasing production
Reduction of both energy consumption and CO2 footprint while increasing production efficiency are key challenges for the glass industry.
The glass industry tackles these challenges by developing glass production processes enabling the use of sustainable fuels, adoption of CO2-lean raw materials, intensify glass recycling and improving energy efficiency of glass furnaces.
The challenge to cut energy consumption and CO2 emissions is not unique for the glass industry. Other energy-intensive industries face the same issues with respect to process decarbonization technologies, dedicated sensors, and control schemes. This virtual GlassTrend seminar focuses on experience and technologies available and under development in other industries. The aim is to learn from the experience.
You are invited to participate in this online event to learn, share experience and identify potential technologies to enable lowering the footprint of glass production.
