Decarbonization is one of the key challenges of the glass industry in the transition to sustainable glass manufacturing. Next to the development and implementation of sustainable technologies, smart sensors, and process control are required to optimize the use of these technologies in view of CO2 footprint and energy efficiency.

In partnership with Schneider Electric, GlassTrend organizes this in-person event that follows up the previous one that took place earlier this year. This event will be the opportunity to discuss various aspects of smart sustainable glass manufacturing including:

• sustainable fuels
• low-carbon raw materials
• sensors
• data analytics/digitization
• etc

It will take place at IntenCity, Schneider Electric’s flagship building located in Grenoble (France). An exemplary building with a low carbon footprint that illustrates what a smart and efficient building today actually is, in line with the future-oriented theme of our event.
